WORLD FOOD DAY
On 16th Oct 2024 at Neo School Aizza High School
*A special morning assembly was conducted to celebrate the World Food Day.
*Students from the Health Club and the Interact Club presented a short speech on the topic, shared facts about the United Nations SDG 2- Zero Hunger,and discussed vocabulary related to nourishment followed by a short quiz.
*Having a balanced diet, eating on time, avoiding packaged food, eating locally available food to support local farmers, not criticising food, being grateful for the food available were some of the suggestions given by the students to emphasize the importance of celebrating World Food Day.
*The assembly concluded with students taking pledge to contribute in their own little way to support Zero Hunger beginning with self-care.
