CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME (CBP) BY CBSE ON STORYTELLING AS PEDAGOGY

“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today.”
Acknowledging the importance of storytelling, a CBP on *Story telling as Pedagogy was conducted by CBSE @ NSAHS
*After the Inaugural Session by the Aizzians, Resource Person 2 , Dr Vasudha Rani , kickstarted the workshop with the mandatory Session on Mental Health and Well – being.
*Resource Person 1, Mrs Pratima Sinha, a veteran of more than three decades of teaching and training experience, conducted an interactive indepth session on significance of storytelling andtypes of storytelling.
*Various important aspects of storytelling were zeroed upon along with discussion on effective implementation of the same in classrooms.
*About 51 participants from various prestigious CBSE schools found themselves engaged in the activities of story presentation.
*Post lunch, participants indulged in another story presentation integrated with their respective subjects and correlating to Bloom’s Taxonomy.
*In a nutshell, the Session laid emphasis on reviving the forgotten art of storytelling.
